For Art today we constructed a clowns face. We coloured and cut out the clowns hair, mouth, nose, eyes, eye brows and bow tie. We put the clown face over our face. We think our clown are very colourful.

We have been learning to manage ourselves by putting our book bag in our tray and taking our chair down.
We know how to sit on the mat with our arms folded and our legs crossed.
We work quietly at our tables when we are writing our story, doing our handwriting and worksheets.

Room  5's Bus.
Here we are in the bus that we made to go to the Faraday Centre and the Napier Library.
The photos were taken in the bus, then we printed them and put them in the windows of the bus.
We like seeing our photos in the bus windows.

Our WOW Factor in Room 5 are WHEELS as our Inquiry topic this term is Road Safety and Move It.
We will be going to the Faraday Centre to see lots of wheels.

Grizzler And The Eggs.

We were the best class at assembly last week so we won the bear called Grizzler. We were

allowed to keep Grizzler in our class for the week.
When we came in after lunch today we found Grizzler sitting on the teachers chair with lots of Easter eggs with golden wrappings. We put the Easter eggs in the baskets we made this morning and we will take these home.
Grizzler and Room 5 wish everyone a very happy Easter.

The Big Question

Inquiry Topic. We have been learning about how people help us in our school.

We have been learning about the value of "Friendliness."
Friends like to play together, sing together, sit and talk with each other.
We made these Hands Of Friendship for our art lesson on Valentines Day.
